Rare clouds spotted from our house this morning! These are nacreous or mother-of-pearl clouds - they’re very high up and reflect the light at sunrise or sunset ☁️☁️☁️ #amazingnature #cloudspotting

I love gardening with my hens mooching around nearby. They enjoy scratching about in the borders, looking for titbits in the soil, munching on some grass and preening in the sunlight. Scotland is currently not in #flockdown (sorry England and Wales 😢) so I’m making the most of a sunny Saturday and letting them out in the garden for a bit of free-ranging. Check out our smallest hen, gorgeous wee Bean (buff coloured) coming closer to say hi 🧡🐔 #gardeningwithchickens

Ivy is often maligned - at best it’s a bit boring, at worst it’s (wrongly) considered destructive. But actually it’s a very beautiful and useful green covering for walls and is a much needed food source for birds and insects in the winter. It’s also an excellent place to make nests in spring. We have a lot of ivy in our garden, and I love it 💚
