I’m a writer, content creator and communications specialist, with experience in radio journalism, writing, podcasting and public relations.
I’ve worked for two commercial radio stations, a production company creating programmes for BBC Radio Scotland, a global public transport corporation, and an independent media company, as well as spending time in the water industry and in horticulture.
As a freelance writer and communications consultant, I undertake a variety of regular projects, temporary gigs and short-term contracts for small and large businesses, charities and arts organisations.
I’m part of the team at Transform Creative, a virtual agency which reinvests its profits into Transform Scotland‘s campaign for a greener, healthier Scotland.
I’m also a member of the Garden Media Guild, the Society of Authors and the Hardy Plant Society.
I enjoy spending time in nature, so I walk in the woods as often as I can and am usually found in the garden when I have any spare time. I have a qualification in horticulture (RHS L2 Principles and Practices of Horticulture) and I’m a regular garden volunteer at Hospitalfield in Arbroath and the University of Dundee Botanic Garden.
Here are my superstrengths, values and interests…
